🎉 Big congratulations to Cloey Fletcher, Logan Green, and Andiana Ziegler for earning 1st place at the state level in the American Spirit Competition and representing our school at the SkillsUSA National Leadership and Skills Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, this past June 23–27!✨ Their outstanding project showcased our chapter’s dedication to citizenship, community service, and patriotism. Mr. Johannes attended the event with the students and shared that this trip was full of exciting firsts: ✈️ Cloey flew on an airplane for the first time 🥢 Andiana used chopsticks for the first time 🌞 All three students experienced Atlanta’s heat and humidity—and quickly learned they’re not fans! Our June End-of-Month Assembly was filled with smiles, cheers, and well-deserved recognition for our outstanding students. We are so proud to celebrate our grade level award winners who have shown exceptional growth and dedication throughout the year. From kindergarten through sixth grade, these students have truly embodied what it means to be a Mary M. Knight OWL! A special congratulations goes out to our K-6 OWL Award recipients - students who have demonstrated Outstanding character, Wisdom in their choices, and Leadership in our school community. These young leaders inspire us all with their positive attitudes and commitment to making our school a better place. What an Amazing Way to End the Year! 🏀🦉 What a fantastic finish to another incredible year at Mary M. Knight! Our school community came together this week to celebrate two of our most beloved traditions - and the energy in our gymnasium was absolutely electric! Staff vs. Students Basketball Showdown 🏆 The annual Staff vs. Students basketball game lived up to all the hype once again! Our entire school packed the gym to cheer on their favorite players as teachers and students battled it out for those all-important bragging rights. The competition was fierce, the crowd was loud, and the smiles were endless. And once again, our talented staff team claimed victory and those coveted bragging rights for another year! While our students put up an incredible fight, the staff managed to hold onto their winning streak. Whether you were Team Staff or Team Students, everyone walked away winners as we celebrated the amazing relationships and school spirit that make Mary M. Knight so special. Secondary OWL Olympics Champions! 🥇 We're also thrilled to announce the champions of this year's Secondary OWL Olympics! After a full day of competitive events and team challenges, our winning team has earned the coveted trophy that will proudly display in their classroom for the entire next school year. The dedication, teamwork, and Owl pride shown by all our secondary students throughout the Olympics was truly inspiring to witness. These traditions remind us why we love being part of the Mary M.
