Your Voice Matters
At Mary M. Knight School, we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all students. We take all reports of Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) seriously and respond promptly to every concern.
Harassment, Intimidation, and Bullying (HIB) includes any intentional written, verbal, or physical act that:
Physically harms a student or damages their property
Has the effect of substantially interfering with a student's education
Is so severe, persistent, or pervasive that it creates an intimidating or threatening educational environment
Has the effect of substantially disrupting the orderly operation of the school
Examples include, but are not limited to:
Repeated teasing, name-calling, or put-downs used to cause harm
Repeated targeted threats or intimidation
Physical aggression (hitting, pushing, taking belongings) that re-occurring
Repeated targeted social exclusion or spreading rumors
Repeated cyberbullying (online harassment, harmful texts or posts)
How to Report
Students and families can report HIB in several ways:
Online Reporting Form
Complete our confidential OWL Witness Form online. This form allows you to provide detailed information about the incident and will be reviewed by school administration promptly.
Additional Reporting Options
In Person: Speak directly with the principal, counselor, or any trusted staff member

OWL Box: Students can place completed paper forms in the OWL Box located in the main offices
What Happens Next?
When you submit a report:
Immediate Review: All reports are reviewed promptly by school administration
Investigation: We will investigate the incident thoroughly and confidentially
Action: Appropriate interventions and consequences will be implemented
Follow-Up: We will follow up with involved parties to ensure the situation is resolved
Support: Counseling and support services are available to all students involved
Anonymous Reporting
While we encourage students and families to include contact information so we can follow up and provide support, reports can be submitted anonymously. Please note that anonymous reports may limit our ability to fully investigate and respond to the incident.
