To support reading and literacy, one of our staff members, Mrs. Hensen, applied for a grant through the CPEG.

This grant, called Book Buddies, allowed for particulate grades in the elementary to receive a "crate" with a stuffed animal to read a book to that they receive as well.

Book Buddies is a program to support reading, help reluctant readiness, and encourage them to read at home to their pets and trade their books with friends.
