Superintendent's Communication
Dear Parents and Community,
Support our Students - Inform Yourself on the Upcoming Levy!
On February 13th, community members will vote on renewing the Mary M. Knight School District's replacement levy. These funds are vital to support programs and activities that go beyond basic state education requirements. Hear directly from Superintendent Matt Mallery on the purpose and impact of levy dollars in an insightful interview with Jeff Slakey.
Tune in to learn how renewal funds will support Athletics, Career & Technical Education, after-school activities, smaller class sizes, counseling services, and more. With thoughtful consideration of rising property values, the proposed renewal rate reflects minimal increases to ease tax burdens. Find details on the value to students and potential equalization funding with passage.
Thank you to Yearbook & Photography students Hayden, Hayden and Zoe for filming this information session as part of their coursework. We appreciate their great work bringing this to the community!
